Fresno California artist Bobby Von Martin is an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He fell in love with art from a very young age, being born into a family of multiple professional artists. His passion is to inspire youth and adults in native american communities with his cultural influences and historical subject matter in his paintings. He also concentrates in the current struggles and beauty of the indigenous people. Because of that subject matter, it allows non natives to learn more about indigenous people.

He has donated his time to teach local native youth art classes and is currently doing native paint nights in the local native centers. He has also donated his art to many local native and non native activities for fundraisers and local events. Bobby has sold his art worldwide. he is the owner and curator of the "Honor your elders/mentors" show and " Walk with your ancestors" show in Fresno, CA. Bobby is currently teaching at 5 local schools in the after school program for arts.

He is the 2021 Horizon artist award winner. Bobby is currently illustrating a Native American children's book for Harper-Collins Publishers LLC, one of the largest publishing companies in the u.s. Bobby currently has 2 paintings in the choctaw casino in Durant, 2 paintings at the choctaw headquarters, and 2 paintings in the brand new choctaw cultural center in Durant, OK. He is working on many other projects that you will soon see in the upcoming months. He prides himself on giving back to the local community as much as he does
